qrkodi.is is a service that lets anyone create QR codes for free, whether for personal or business use. By using the service you agree to the following terms.

1. Using the codes

The QR codes you create on qrkodi.is are free to use, including for commercial purposes, with no limit on the number of scans. They never expire on our end - each code is a static image that points directly at the content you entered, and we do not run any service that could later disable it.

2. No warranty

The service is provided as-is, without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that a code will scan perfectly under all conditions - poor print quality, a size that is too small, or unsuitable colors can all affect scannability. You are responsible for testing a code before using it at scale, for example on printed material.

3. Responsibility for content

You are responsible for the content you encode, such as web addresses, text, WiFi details, or contact card information. qrkodi.is bears no responsibility for content that users encode with the service.

4. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to change these terms or the functionality of the service at any time. Such changes do not retroactively affect codes already created - they keep working independently of the service itself, since they are static and stored on your own device, not on ours.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any dispute arising from use of the service that cannot be resolved by agreement shall be brought before the courts of Iceland.
